Valentine's at Home

Once we got home from SC, Ellie had a visit from cupid...

Myrtle Beach

We made a trip down to North Myrtle Beach Valentine's Day weekend. Aunt Jen came too, and we had a wonderful time!! Ellie got to spend some great time with "PapaJulis" and we got to explore Papa's new town. We went to the Myrtle Beach Aquarium and went to the Children's Museum.

Our Sunday Funday's have taken on a new meaning...

It used to be that Sunday Funday usually meant hanging out with a bunch of friends over some cocktails and food. Ever since Ellie joined our family they have taken on a new meaning...in December we took Ellie to see Elmo Live. She was a little young to really get it, but she seemed to have a good time.

Thanksgiving/Christmas

We had a fairly low-key Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. For Thanksgiving we went to Gaga's house and just relaxed, it was great! The day after Thanksgiving we went to the Reston Parade, it was freezing cold, but Ellie loved seeing all the floats.

For Christmas we went to Papa George's house on Christmas Eve...

and then headed to Gaga's for our annual Italian dinner and movie watching tradition. Aunt Jen made a WONDERFUL dessert...

We seemed to celebrate Christmas all month long. First we went to The Enchanted Forest in Reston, where we did some arts and crafts and looked at all the pretty Christmas Trees. We bid on some of the trees there, but got out bid after we left. We even attempted a pciture with Santa but that didn't go so well. Daddy was a little too quick to get Ellie away from the scary man in the red suit...

We also went to get her picture taken with the Santa up at The Galleria, but that didn't turn out much better...

Santa paid Ellie a couple of visits. He came to see her at Gags's, when Grandpa was in town and then again at home...

Halloween

Ellie was a ladybug this year for Halloween, and I of course have to say she was the cutest ladybug I have ever seen! We went up to the beach for the Sea Witch Festival again and this year we had some friends join us...the Brophy family and the McPherson family. It was a great trip. In fact, Kelan and Charlotte were both adorable little pink bunnies!
